Role: Operations & Stocking Engineer

🎓 Education: Mechanical Engineering degree/diploma (Required)

This role is ideal for a technically strong mechanical engineer who enjoys hands-on operations, quality checks, and ensuring stocking of goods and packing material.

Key Responsibilities

Packing & Stocking Operations

• Manage stocking of finished goods
• Oversee the receiving and dispatch of product stock and packing stock
• Ensure accurate inventory records and proper storage practices
• Streamline packing and stocking processes to improve efficiency

Engineering & Temper Control

• Perform hardness testing and verify tempering quality
• Identify defects and coordinate corrective actions with the production team
• Maintain documentation for quality and tempering checks

Coordination

• Work with vendors, logistics, and internal teams to avoid delays
• Uphold quality and safety standards throughout operations

Logistics & Supply Chain Support

• Support supply chain activities, including procurement, stocking, and dispatch
• Contribute to planning, process optimization, and reporting
• Assist with ERP/MRP data inputs for operations and inventory

Qualifications

• B.Tech/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (Mandatory)
• 2–5 years of experience in operations, production, or QC
• Strong understanding of hardness/tempering processes
• Experience in packing, inventory, logistics, or supply chain is an advantage
• Proficiency in coordination, problem-solving, and documentation
• Ability to work hands-on in a fast-paced, on-ground manufacturing environment
• Experience in the bicycle or related industries is a plus
