The Role: Assistant Account Officer (On-site, Ludhiana)

This is a dedicated, detail-oriented, and on-site role in Ludhiana, providing essential support to our accounting team. The Assistant Account Officer will be a key player in day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in our financial records.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Executing daily data entries, including detailed invoice processing
  • Performing routine bank reconciliations
  • Assisting in preparing monthly financial reports and supporting senior accountants with finance-related tasks
  • Supporting the team with compliance tasks, including GST and TDS documentation
  • Managing cheque preparation and related documentation
  • Maintaining accurate stock records by recording necessary entries in Excel sheets for Finished Goods and packing materials
  • Coordinating effectively with internal teams to ensure the efficiency of accounting operations


Qualifications and Requirements


Experience and Education:

  • Candidates with 3+ years of relevant experience in daily accounting operations
  • Minimum qualification of 10+2 in Commerce grade is required
  • Relevant coursework or a degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is preferred


Skills and Proficiencies:

  • Proficiency in relevant accounting software, particularly Tally ERP systems, and MS Office (especially Excel)
  • Strong foundation and proficiency in preparing and analyzing Financial Statements
  • Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
  • Strong Analytical Skills and fundamental knowledge in accounting
  • Excellent Communication skills, both written and verbal, to manage internal and external interactions effectively
  • Strong documentation and organizational skills with a disciplined work style
  • Quick learning ability, a commitment to meeting deadlines, and working independently
