Operations Manager

We are hiring for a dynamic and rapidly growing company poised to make a significant impact in our industry. We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Operations Manager to become the backbone of our business. This is a critical role where you will manage the administrative functions of our Head Office while also overseeing our inventory and logistics operations. You will work in close partnership with the founding team to establish and streamline key operational processes, managing both office staff and ground teams.

Key Responsibilities

1. Logistics, Inventory & Import Oversight

• Import Coordination:

  Manage the tracking and coordination of inbound shipments (specifically from China). Liaise with freight forwarders to ensure timely clearance and delivery.

• Inventory Procedures:

  Set up and enforce procedures for how inventory is organized, labelled, and tracked. You will determine how stock moves from arrival to dispatch.

• Kitting & Assembly Management:

  Coordinate the receipt of components from different manufacturers and oversee the packaging/kitting process to ensure the final product is assembled correctly before dispatch.

• System Implementation:

  Utilize and manage specific tracking software (WMS) to ensure real-time visibility of stock levels and orders.

• Operational Smoothness:

  Ensure the facility runs efficiently by coordinating directly with the ground staff to maintain a smooth flow of operations.

2. Head Office Management & Team Leadership

• Office Administration:

  Oversee all day-to-day administrative functions of the head office. Manage employee schedules, monitor attendance, and ensure the timely submission of work reports.

• Team Supervision:

  Supervise and support the team, fostering a positive and efficient work environment. Act as the primary point of contact for the team's daily needs.

• Founder Liaison:

  Serve as a key link between the founding team and the staff. Proactively assist with the setup and implementation of new operations and strategic initiatives.

3. Core Operations Oversight

• E-commerce Logistics:

  Oversee the final dispatch and delivery process to customers.

• Customer Support:

  Manage the call center team and ensure service quality. Execution & Follow-up: Drive projects and tasks to completion with meticulous attention to detail and persistent follow-up, ensuring that deadlines are met and objectives are achieved.

Qualifications and Skills

• Experience:

  Minimum 3+ years of proven experience in operations management, with a strong background in inventory control and logistics.

• Logistics Knowledge:

  Experience managing tracking and logistics for goods imported from China is essential.

• Technical Skills:

  Must be proficient with inventory tracking systems (e.g., Unicommerce, Vinculum, etc.).

• Organizational Skills:

  Exceptional organizational and follow-up skills are a must have. You must be able to manage procedures and people effectively.

• Communication:

  Excellent interpersonal skills to liaise effectively between management, office staff, and ground personnel. Fluent in Hindi and English.

• Location:

  Must be based in or willing to relocate to Kota, Rajasthan (Strictly non remote).
