Your Job We are looking for a seasoned and strategic IT Operations Leader to establish and lead the new Molex Application & Operations center. This role will be instrumental in fostering strong collaboration with our Network Engineering team, Application Support teams, and KGS partners. The primary focus will be on designing and executing robust systems and processes that ensure seamless network operations, while maintaining high standards of performance and application reliability. What You Will Do Establish and lead the Application & Operations capability, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic goals. Lead the team, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance management. Develop and implement the team's strategy, best practices, and standard operating procedures. Oversee the monitoring of network & server health and application performance across Molex manufacturing sites using various monitoring tools and systems. Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of network incidents, changes, RCA and resolutions. Partner with the Network Engineering team, and KGS to support systems for improving network performance and reliability. Oversee incident management activities & conduct RCA for high priority incidents with a focus on continuous improvement initiatives to ensure high availability and performance. Foster a collaborative and curiosity driven culture and teamwork. Develop an observability culture to build proactive measures for the team. Establish an environment where accountability and ownership raise the quality and strength of the team and it’s ability to execute. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support network-related projects and initiatives. Monitor network, server & application performance and implement proactive measures to prevent issues and optimize performance. Act as an escalation point of contact & establish outage procedures during cricital outages. Stay up to date with the latest network technologies and industry trends to drive continuous improvement. Who You Are (Basic Qualifications) Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Demonstrated leadership experience, with the ability to manage and mentor a team of infrastructure and monitoring professionals. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a bias for action. Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners. Effective under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Experience in infrastructure operations with an understanding of network protocols, and advanced monitoring is a plus. What Will Put You Ahead Familiarity with Agile and Scrum. Experience in network and security. Experience with Observability tool (Grafana, OpenTelemetry, …) Familiarity with ITIL processes and best practices.
