Operations Leader

The Operations Team Leader, AVP will be based in Pune, India and will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day activities to ensure accurate and timely delivery of production duties. You will need to adhere to set cut-off times and maintain processing quality as per SLAs. Responding to queries and escalations related to routine activities within specified time frames will be a key aspect of your role. Additionally, you will be expected to act as a backup for peers in their absence and share best practices with the team. Your key responsibilities will include reviewing client account opening documentation in compliance with regulatory and internal policies, ensuring accuracy of data entered into the Private Banking system, performing simple and complex static amendments in core banking systems, conducting client due diligence searches, performing signature verification, and supporting data migration projects. You will also be responsible for bringing controls and efficiencies to existing processes and liaising with various stakeholders for process-related queries. To excel in this role, you must have a minimum of 10+ years of experience in client onboarding and static data amendments in Private Banking, with experience managing a team of at least 15 people. Proficiency in German Language at B1/B2 level is a must, along with strong communication and people management skills. You should be willing to work in multiple/rotational shifts.
