Operations Leader

Role Overview: As an Operations Team Leader, AVP at Deutsche Bank in Pune, India, you will be responsible for ensuring the completion of day-to-day activities in accordance with standards, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of assigned production duties. You will need to maintain adherence to all cut-off times and quality of processing as per SLAs. Additionally, you will be expected to respond to all queries and first-level escalations related to routine activities within specified time frames, act as a backup for peers in their absence, and share best practices with the team. Key Responsibilities: - Review client account opening documentation in alignment with regulatory and internal policies. - Ensure the accuracy of data entered into the Private Banking system and information in the Account Opening Documents. - Perform simple and complex static amendments in core banking systems. - Input data and authorize records in core banking systems for various changes in client accounts. - Conduct client due diligence searches via external and internal internet searches. - Verify signatures and update client records in core banking systems. - Collaborate with KYC/AML team for queries related to CDD searches and due diligence. - Manage data cleansing projects by reviewing client documents and data in core banking systems. - Support project teams on data migration projects. - Enhance controls and efficiencies in existing processes. - Interface with onshore, FO, auditors, and stakeholders for process-related queries. Qualifications Required: - Proficiency in German Language at B1/B2 level is mandatory. - Strong communication and people management skills. - Minimum of 10+ years of experience in client onboarding/static data amendments in Private Banking with a team management experience of at least 15 people. - Hands-on experience in reviewing client onboarding documentation. - Willingness to work in multiple/rotational shifts.
