Job Description

As a Senior RF Optimization Engineer at our company, you will play a crucial role in optimizing the customer network performance by utilizing your expertise in 2G, 3G, LTE, and NR technologies. Your responsibilities will include the following: - Optimization skill set: You should have experience in Ericsson 2G, 3G, 4G, and 5G technologies, with the ability to fine-tune and optimize the customer network individually for improved performance. Additionally, having a multi-vendor skill set and knowledge in layer management, black cell/throughput improvement, and OSS KPI tuning is essential. - Parameter Configuration: You will be responsible for configuring basic to advanced design and optimization parameters, determining ideal values based on specific scenarios, and ensuring clarity in logic and application. Knowledge of FFI and experience in this area will be beneficial. - Key concepts: Your expertise should cover RAN KPI optimization, trace analysis, load management strategy, and the ability to revise the Mobility strategy based on customer requirements. You should also be capable of conducting throughput improvement activities across the RAN network and guiding the team effectively. - Tool Proficiency: Demonstrating proficiency in using Network planning and optimization tools such as ENM, BI, OSS, QGIS, ITK, TEMS Discovery, and other Inter-vendor tools will be essential for this role. - Project Management: You will be required to prepare customer reports, acceptance reports, and all project-related documentation professionally, validate the same, and provide guidance to the team throughout the project. - Automation & Digitalization skills: Experience in E2E process flow digitization, identifying blockers, and removing barriers to achieve efficiency targets through automation and process improvements will be necessary. Hands-on experience in developing Python-based automations and scripts, along with creating and maintaining data sources and visualization dashboards, will be advantageous. Your qualifications should include a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering. Additionally, you should have strong technical knowledge of GSM, UMTS, LTE, VoLTE, and 5G NR technologies, including architecture, KPIs, mobility, RF propagation, interference mitigation, and tuning best practices. Furthermore, your deep expertise in Ericsson RAN systems, parameters, counters, and optimization methodologies, along with excellent communication, negotiation, and customer-facing skills, will be key to your success in this role. You must also have proven ability to work collaboratively with Ericsson specialists, vendor counterparts, and client stakeholders, handling site-level and network-level optimization effectively.,
