About the Role

National Sales Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Drive

  General Trade sales

  across India and achieve defined sales and growth targets.
• Develop and execute

  national sales strategies

  , forecasts, and business plans.
• Lead, mentor, and motivate regional and field sales teams across

  8 or more states

  .
• Strengthen and expand distributor and retailer networks for improved market reach.
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with key customers, distributors, and trade partners.
• Collaborate with marketing, supply chain, and finance teams to ensure smooth operations and campaign execution.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer behavior to identify growth opportunities.
• Represent the brand at

  trade fairs and promotional events

  to enhance market presence.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years

  of experience in

  General Trade FMCG Sales

  .
• Must have

  handled at least 8 states

  across PAN India.

• 2–3 years of experience

  in the

  Agarbatti or Pooja Needs category

  is mandatory.
• Strong background in

  sales strategy, distribution management, and team leadership

  .
• Excellent

  communication, negotiation, and analytical

  skills.
• Proven ability to

  achieve sales targets

  and manage large, multi-location teams.
• Proficiency in

  sales forecasting, reporting, and territory planning

  .
• Multilingual proficiency and computer literacy preferred.
