Key Responsibilities: Tool and Mold Maintenance: Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on injection molds, tools, and dies. Troubleshoot mold-related issues and provide quick, effective solutions to minimize production downtime. Tool Room Operations: Operate and maintain toolroom machinery including milling machines, lathes, surface grinders, EDM, CNC, and wire-cut machines. Ensure tools are manufactured and modified according to design specifications and tolerances. Maintain proper documentation for tool maintenance, tool life, and tooling changes. Mold Assembly & Disassembly: Assemble and disassemble injection molds for maintenance or production. Ensure mold components are correctly aligned and reassembled to standard. Design & Engineering Support: Collaborate with design and production engineering teams to improve mold designs for manufacturability, cycle time, and longevity. Assist in new tool trials, tool validations, and modifications. Qualifications & Skills: Education: Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Tool & Die Engineering, or equivalent technical qualification. Experience: 3+ years of experience in a similar role within a plastic injection molding environment. Hands-on experience with injection molds (hot runner and cold runner systems).
