Role Overview We are looking for an experienced Head – MIS to lead our Management Information System function. This role will act as a controller to monitor and streamline financial reconciliations, ensure accuracy in claims and receivables, and design insightful dashboards that drive business growth and informed decision-making. The ideal candidate will be highly skilled in accounting systems (Tally ERP, SAP), MIS reporting, and performance analysis, with a strong ability to convert financial and operational data into strategic action plans. Key Responsibility: Lead the MIS function and develop structured reporting systems for management and stakeholders. Control and monitor financial reconciliations including debit notes, credit notes, claims receivables, incentives, and schemes from handset brands. Ensure timely preparation and submission of MIS reports covering sales, collections, inventory, receivables, claims, and profitability. Develop and maintain dashboards for performance tracking, KPIs, and business growth metrics. Support management with business review presentations and recommend action plans for growth. Coordinate with finance, sales, operations, and warehouse teams for data accuracy and timely reporting. Implement process improvements for better control and transparency in financial reconciliations. Work closely with auditors (internal & statutory) to ensure MIS alignment with financial statements. Provide actionable insights on margins, schemes, claims, and cash flows to improve business efficiency. Manage a small team of MIS executives/analysts and drive capability building in reporting & analysis. Qualifications & SkillsGraduate/Postgraduate in Commerce/Finance/Business (CA Inter/MBA preferred). 6–10 years of experience in MIS/Finance, preferably in mobile distribution, FMCG, or electronics sector. Strong knowledge of Tally ERP, SAP, or similar systems with expertise in financial reconciliation. Advanced skills in ADVANCE MS Excel, PowerPoint, and BI tools (Power BI/Tableau etc preferred). Strong understanding of debit/credit notes, claim settlements, and incentive structures and schemes reconciliation. Ability to create dashboards and automated reports for management review. Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent communication and presentation skills to interact with senior leadership.
