Role Overview - We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Top/Mid-Level Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, handling Brands/customer reconciliations, ensuring TAX / GST / TDS compliance, and supporting financial planning for our fast-paced distribution business. Key Responsibilities: Manage day-to-day accounting operations including accounts payable, receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations. Prepare and maintain accurate financial records as per statutory requirements for TDS & GST Monitor and manage vendor payments, dealer/retailer outstanding, and credit controls like Party CN and DN etc. Assist in preparing monthly/quarterly financial statements, MIS reports, and cash flow projections. Perform GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance including timely filing of returns. Reconcile stock movement, distributor claims, and incentive schemes from brands (Apple, Samsung, OnePlus, etc.). Coordinate with internal sales, operations, and warehouse teams to ensure smooth financial processes. Support external/internal audits by providing necessary data and documentation. Provide insights on cost optimization, margins, and profitability analysis. Assist senior management in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis. Qualifications & SkillsBachelor’s degree in Commerce/Accounting/Finance (Master’s/CA Inter preferred). 3–5 years of experience in accounting, preferably in FMCG, electronics, or distribution industry. Strong knowledge of accounting principles, GST, TDS, and statutory compliances. Hands-on experience with Tally ERP, SAP, or similar accounting software. Advanced proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, MIS reporting). Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
