MIS Manager

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Management Information Systems Manager to oversee and enhance our organization's information systems and technology infrastructure. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities and a comprehensive understanding of network infrastructure, server management, and database administration. This role is pivotal in ensuring the integrity, security, and efficiency of our IT systems while supporting organizational goals through effective technology solutions.

Duties

• Lead the development and implementation of information systems strategies that align with organizational objectives, Expert in Google sheets.
• Manage and optimize network infrastructure, ensuring reliable connectivity and performance across all departments.
• Oversee server management, including installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting to ensure system availability.
• Implement and manage firewall configurations to protect sensitive data and maintain cybersecurity protocols.
• Supervise database administration tasks, ensuring data integrity, security, and accessibility for authorized users.
• Utilize ServiceNow for IT service management processes to streamline operations and improve service delivery.
• Conduct regular analysis of system performance using tools such as SolarWinds to identify areas for improvement.
• Foster a collaborative team environment by providing leadership, mentorship, and training to IT staff.
• Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to recommend enhancements that support business growth.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in managing information systems or IT infrastructure in a leadership capacity.
• Strong knowledge of network infrastructure principles and practices.
• Proficiency in server management and maintenance tasks.
• Experience with firewall configuration and cybersecurity best practices.
• Familiarity with database management systems and data analysis techniques.
• Knowledge of ServiceNow or similar IT service management tools is preferred.
• Proficient in Linux operating systems; experience with other operating systems is a plus.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to analyze complex problems effectively.
• Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate teams towards achieving common goals.
