Job Summary:

The MIS Manager will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing the organization s Management Information System. The role involves creating dashboards, reports, and data models to support business decisions, ensuring data accuracy, and streamlining reporting processes. The incumbent will collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze operational performance and provide actionable insights for strategic planning.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, maintain, and automate MIS dashboards and reports for various departments.
Ensure accuracy, completeness, and timely availability of reports for management decision-making.
Analyze trends, variances, and KPIs to identify opportunities for business improvement.
Collaborate with Operations, Finance, Sales, and Technology teams to understand reporting needs.
Implement data validation and standardization processes to maintain quality.
Prepare ad hoc reports and presentations for senior leadership.
Drive automation initiatives by integrating advanced reporting tools (Excel VBA, Power BI, SQL, etc.).
Ensure compliance with company data security and confidentiality standards.
Team management lead, mentor, and support junior MIS executives/analysts.
Train and guide junior MIS executives/analysts within the team.
Market visits to gather intelligence collect on-ground insights to strengthen MIS analysis and reporting.
Internal coordination for key projects ensure effective collaboration across departments for MIS-driven initiatives.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Statistics, Finance, or related field.
Master s Degree (MBA/PGDM) preferred but not mandatory.

Skills and Experience:

8+ years of experience in MIS, Data Analytics, or Business Reporting.
Minimum 3 years of experience in managing and mentoring a team.
Strong expertise in MS Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables, VBA/macros).
Proficiency in SQL queries, databases, and reporting tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets.
Excellent communication and presentation skills to interact with senior management.
Ability to handle multiple priorities and deliver under tight deadlines.
