MIS Manager

As an MIS Manager for the Kumbalgodu site at Bangalore, you will play a crucial role in coordinating with specific clients, internal teams, and management at SMT, a company specializing in PVD coatings for leading corporates. Your primary responsibility will be to prepare, maintain, and deliver reports in a timely manner. Key Responsibilities: - Receive materials and issue them for production. - Coordinate with the production team at various levels. - Keep track of materials and provide inventory details as required for ensuring smooth and timely deliveries. - Follow up on client priorities to meet their needs. - Support and maintain the existing MIS system. - Conduct data analysis to generate periodic reports. - Generate and distribute management reports accurately and on time. - Make recommendations to enhance the current MIS for improved reporting efficiency. - Produce both periodic and ad hoc reports as necessary. - Analyze business information to identify process improvements for increased efficiency. - Evaluate existing tasks, conventions, and processes for suggestions on improvements. - Manage and develop the MIS system for customer management and internal communication. - Participate in cross-functional meetings to address recurring customer issues. - Actively contribute during ERP implementation and maintain and update data in the ERP system. - Provide customer support for issue troubleshooting and resolution. Qualifications Required: - Strong analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving abilities. - Proficiency in computer-aided systems for operational processes and employee management. - Experience with various applications, software, and ERPs. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills. - Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. - Organized with great attention to detail. - Working knowledge of different computer operating systems and interfaces. Education and Experience: - Diploma / Engineering, undergraduates, graduates (any stream). - Minimum of 5 years of experience in MIS. - Proficiency in Tamil, Kannada, English, and Hindi languages is required.
