Job Description

Job Title: MIS Executive / MIS Analyst

Department: Finance/Operations

Location: Delhi, NSP

Reports To: Senior Finance Manager

Job Purpose

The MIS Executive will be responsible for preparing, analyzing, and maintaining accurate and timely MIS reports related to production, sales, inventory, costing, and financial performance. The role supports management decision-making through robust reporting, analysis, and process improvements.

Key Responsibilities

1. MIS & Reporting

  • Prepare and circulate daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports related to:
  • Production and capacity utilization
  • Sales, dispatches, and receivables
  • Inventory (Raw Material, WIP, Finished Goods)
  • Costing, margins, and variance analysis
  • Develop and maintain Excel-based dashboards for management review.
  • Ensure accuracy, consistency, and timely submission of MIS data.

2. Financial Analysis

  • Assist in preparation and analysis of:
  • Profit & Loss (P&L) statements
  • Cost sheets and product-wise profitability
  • Budget vs. actual reports and variance analysis
  • Support the finance team during monthly closing activities by providing required MIS inputs.

3. Data Management & Coordination

  • Collect and consolidate data from production, stores, sales, and accounts departments.
  • Reconcile MIS data with accounting records and ERP/system data.
  • Maintain proper documentation, report version control, and data integrity.

4. Process Improvement & Audit Support

  • Identify gaps in existing MIS reports and suggest improvements in reporting formats and processes.
  • Automate MIS reports using advanced Excel tools wherever possible.
  • Support internal and external audits by providing required MIS data and reports.

Required Skills & Competencies

  • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, SUMIFS, IF functions, charts).
  • Good understanding of manufacturing operations and cost structures.
  • Working knowledge of financial statements, especially P&L (basic Balance Sheet understanding preferred).
  • Strong analytical, reconciliation, and data interpretation skills.
  • High level of attention to detail with the ability to meet strict reporting deadlines.

Educational Qualification

  • Graduate in Commerce / Accounting / Finance / Management.
  • CA Inter / CMA Inter / MBA (Finance) preferred but not mandatory.

Experience

  • 4-8 years of relevant experience in MIS / reporting.
  • Prior experience in a manufacturing organization is highly preferred.

Tools & Systems

  • MS Excel, MS Office
  • ERP systems such as Tally / SAP / Oracle / or any manufacturing ERP (preferred)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
