About the Role:
The incumbent in this role will be responsible for driving business growth by acquiring new corporate clients, nurturing key relationships, and expanding the MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences & Exhibitions) portfolio across domestic and international markets within MakeMyTrip’s Corporate Channel business.The role involves end-to-end ownership of MICE engagements—from understanding client briefs and managing RFPs to conducting destination research, creating customized proposals, and ensuring seamless coordination for flawless delivery.It demands a strategic and consultative mindset, coupled with strong sales acumen and execution excellence, to deliver high-impact travel experiences that strengthen MakeMyTrip’s position as a trusted partner in corporate events and group travel.
What Will You Be Doing
- Identifying and evaluating potential corporate clients through networking, outreach, research, and referrals to drive continuous lead generation.
- Managing MICE queries end-to-end — from client briefing, destination shortlisting, budgeting, and proposal creation to closure and handover to operations.
- Preparing and presenting detailed RFPs for both domestic and international MICE destinations, ensuring commercially viable and creative solutions.
- Building and nurturing long-term partnerships with corporate clients to ensure consistent engagement and repeat business.
- Conducting destination and supplier research to create fresh, competitive, and differentiated proposals.
- Collaborating closely with internal teams (Contracting, Operations, Finance, Revenue) to ensure smooth and timely execution of all client deliverables.
- Tracking, analyzing, and reporting sales data, pipeline movement, and performance metrics to senior management.
- Presenting destination options, associated services, and pricing models tailored to client budgets and expectations.
- Developing and executing account-specific business development plans to expand market reach and client wallet share.
- Working with Marketing and Alliances teams to design co-branded campaigns or experiential programs for key clients.
Qualification & Experience
- Graduate with 4–8 years of experience in B2B corporate sales, business development, or MICE.
- Prior exposure to corporate travel, event management, or hospitality will be preferred.
