Key Responsibilities
- Marketing Strategy & Planning
- Develop and execute marketing plans and campaigns to promote engineering solutions and products.
- Define go-to-market strategies for new and existing products.
- Align marketing strategies with sales and business development objectives to achieve growth targets.
- Product Marketing & Positioning
- Translate technical product features into customer-focused benefits and solutions.
- Prepare marketing collateral, technical presentations, product brochures, and case studies.
- Position products effectively in the market through value-based messaging and differentiation.
- Market Research & Analysis
- Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and industry trend assessments to identify opportunities.
- Analyze customer feedback and market insights to support product improvements.
- Provide regular updates and reports on market performance and potential areas of growth.
- Sales Enablement & Customer Engagement
- Collaborate with the sales team to generate leads, support pitches, and convert prospects into clients.
- Conduct product demonstrations, technical workshops, and client training sessions.
- Participate in trade shows, exhibitions, and industry conferences to promote brand visibility.
- Cross-functional Collaboration
- Work with engineering and product development teams to ensure marketing efforts align with product capabilities.
- Coordinate with vendors, agencies, and partners for campaign execution.
- Support the business development team in bid management and proposal preparation.
- Performance Tracking & Reporting
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of marketing campaigns.
- Track key performance metrics (KPIs) and suggest improvements.
- Provide actionable insights to leadership on marketing ROI and strategic direction.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Marketing, or related field; MBA/PGDM in Marketing preferred.
- Minimum 6+ years of experience in marketing engineering or technical product marketing.
- Strong knowledge of engineering products, solutions, and technical sales processes.
- Proven expertise in market analysis, campaign management, and customer engagement.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and business acumen.
- Ability to travel as required for client meetings, exhibitions, and business events.
