Job Title: Marketing Assistant

Location: New Delhi

Role Overview

We are seeking a strategic and creative Marketing Assistant to drive brand development and market differentiation for Vatech products. This role focuses on defining product image direction, collaborating with design teams to create compelling social media content, and conducting competitive analysis to identify market opportunities. The ideal candidate will deeply understand our market and products, proposing strategic initiatives that define our brand positioning and customer engagement approach.


Key Responsibilities

Brand Strategy & Content Development (50%)


  • Define product image direction and visual identity aligned with brand positioning and target audience

  • Collaborate closely with design team to create, review, and approve social media content that reflects brand direction

  • Develop content strategies for digital platforms that differentiate Vatech in the marketplace

  • Ensure all marketing materials maintain consistent brand voice and visual standards

  • Create and maintain brand guidelines for social media and digital communications


  • Competitive Intelligence & Market Analysis (30%)


    • Conduct in-depth study of competitor products and marketing activities across all channels

    • Monitor and analyze competitor campaigns, social media presence, and market positioning

    • Identify market trends and emerging opportunities for brand differentiation

    • Provide actionable insights on competitive advantages and gaps in our market approach

    • Prepare regular competitive intelligence reports with strategic recommendations


  • Strategic Planning & Recommendations (20%)


    • Analyse market landscape to understand customer needs, preferences, and behaviours

    • Propose strategic marketing activities that enhance brand perception and market position

    • Recommend brand positioning strategies based on competitive analysis and market insights

    • Suggest innovative approaches to customer engagement and brand storytelling

    • Present strategic recommendations to marketing leadership with supporting data and rationale

    Cross-Functional Collaboration

    • Coordinate with sales and product teams to align marketing initiatives with business objectives

    • Support execution of approved marketing campaigns and initiatives

    • Track and analyse campaign performance, providing insights for optimization


    Key Requirements

    Educational Background

    • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field

    • MBA in Marketing preferred

    Experience

    • 3-5 years in marketing roles with focus on brand strategy, content development, or digital marketing

    • Experience in B2B marketing preferred; healthcare/dental industry experience is a plus

    • Demonstrated experience in competitive analysis and market research

    • Proficiency in market research methodologies and tools


    Communication & Collaboration:

    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

    • Strong presentation skills to articulate strategic recommendations

    • Ability to work cross-functionally with design, sales, and product teams


    Technical Skills

    • Proficiency in social media platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter)

    • Familiarity with design tools (understanding of Canva, Adobe suite is a plus)

    • Experience with analytics tools (Google Analytics, social media insights)

    • Knowledge of digital marketing trends and best practices

    • MS Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel for data analysis and presentations)
