In This Position, You Will Get To

  • Collect the new project data from Engineering, involve during time plan and lead implementation of project at plant
  • Review the new project feasibility at plant considering equipment’s and capacity
  • Analyze new process and products failure modes and plan the actions
  • Coordinate along with global team and implement automation projects
  • Coordinate along with Vendors and ensure modification of existing traceability software , assembly line changes
  • Review and approve PPAP for new projects
  • Debottleneck station for maximum hourly output for new and existing products
  • Improve productivity year on year through line balancing , kaizen , cycle time reductions
  • Establish new processes for the assembly of product to ensure the highest quality at the optimum production rate and the most economical cost
  • Continually evaluate safety, ergonomics, productivity and quality and improve process
  • Collect and review component drawings from Engineering
  • Initiate and implement tool, fixtures, gauges to improve product quality at assembly line
  • Lead the new machine set-ups, documents and training
  • Evaluate current equipment performance and improve the performance
Essential Function: -
  • Prepare process flow chart
  • Determine tools, fixtures, gauges requirements for the easy assembly
  • Electric Screwdriver/ Torque requirements handling
  • Determine manpower and hourly output for new projects
  • Create FMEA for related product families and processes
  • Work closely with China and USA Operations team to ensure best practices are shared between the two sites.
  • ERP handling to upload and modify the BOM’s

You Have

  • Academic background in Diploma in Electronics and communication with 6 to 8 years , Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics and communication with 4 to 5 years experience
  • Previous experience in or with Manufacturing Engineering on Conveyor assembly working experience. Working experience in the Electronics Products Assembly like soldering , gluing , torquing , Harness assembly etc

Skills

  • Able to read and understand drawings
  • Able to understand BOM structure , differentiate Parent and child parts
  • Familiar with Microsoft excel, Word and Power point
  • Good in English written and communication skills
  • Preparation of work instructions with pictures, do’s and Don’ts .
  • Able to visualize the assembly steps
  • ERP handling
  • Able to dis-assemble and assemble the units
  • Able to analyze the issues in Gemba
  • Leadership - Handling of small group
