, you will run a delivery pod executing enterprise & functions strategy engagements, mentoring senior/experienced associates, and partnering with the Senior Manager and US engagement leaders. You will convert ambiguous problems into structured workplans, ensure quality deliverables, and support talent development.

Competency Overview: Enterprise & Functional Strategy

The Operations Strategy team works with clients across industries supporting engagements -
  • Developing enterprise and functional strategy (operating model, supply chain, manufacturing & service operations) in partnership with C-suite executives
  • Conducting operational due diligence to assess process and technology landscapes and create POVs
  • Advising clients on transformation—operating model redesign, network optimization, S&OP/planning, logistics, inventory, sourcing & procurement
  • Developing future state strategies for Operations driven digital transformation (analytics, automation, GenAI)
  • Plan & lead projects / workstreams
    • Convert problem statements into plans, estimates, and storyline
    • Own project deliverables, manage scope, schedule and timelines
  • Teaming & quality
    • Review outputs, provide feedback, and align with stakeholders
  • Innovation & growth
    • Develop reusable collateral including templates, frameworks, GenAI agents, etc.
    • Support proposals and pursuits

Core responsibilities of Manager would entail (but not limited to)

Responsibilities

As part of the team, you'll collaborate with experienced consultants and industry professionals to help clients address complex business challenges. Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Plan & deliver workstreams (assessment → design → roadmap) across operations topics; manage scope, schedule, budget, and risks
  • Lead 2-3 team pod; delegate effectively, review project deliverables for quality, and provide actionable feedback
  • Develop financial models for synergy savings, one-time costs, stranded costs for separation and integration
  • Recommend enterprise architecture, solutions, and systems based on industry leading practices and past experiences
  • Recommend technology restructuring considerations (transformation, integration, separation, or carve-out) across key strategy pillars
  • Client interaction: own day‑to‑day communications; present findings, facilitate workshops, and manage stakeholder alignment
  • Analysis & design: lead data analysis, process mapping, hypothesis testing, and option evaluation; ensure clear storylines and business cases
  • Methods & standards: reuse and enhance firm frameworks, templates, and benchmarks; uphold code of conduct and independence requirements
  • Collaboration: coordinate handoffs with Mexico hub and US teams; drive reuse and consistent ways of working

Candidates are expected to demonstrate foundational knowledge in one or more areas of technology, along with strong analytical skills to effectively understand and address client needs:

Must-have Skills

  • Lead and manage global delivery teams by translating expectations from US engagement teams into actionable workplans and reviewing AC outputs for quality
  • Oversee multiple project workstreams from planning through completion, aligned to client objectives and PwC standards
  • Connect complex systems and identify interdependencies across operations, supply chain, and business functions
  • Apply advanced analytical and problem solving skills to assess performance and design transformation roadmaps
  • Develop and evaluate data driven business cases to quantify impact and support strategic decisions
  • Act as a trusted partner to US engagement teams and client stakeholders across time zones
  • Coach, mentor, and upskill team members; uphold PwC’s standards, Code of Conduct, and values of integrity and inclusion

Eligibility criteria

  • MBA from a premier B-School
  • 7–10 years total experience with 2-4 years in operations/supply chain strategy or performance improvement; 1–3 years leading consulting teams
  • Demonstrated success leading analysts/associates and managing multi‑functional clients to outcomes
