About The Role
The Manager, IT Business Systems plays a critical role in bridging the gap between business needs and technology solutions within the organization. This position is responsible for overseeing the design, implementation, integration, and maintenance of IT business systems (ERP, CRM, PLM) that enhance operational efficiency and support strategic objectives. The manager leads a team of IT professionals to ensure systems are aligned with business processes and deliver measurable value. They collaborate closely with stakeholders across departments to identify opportunities for system improvements and drive digital transformation initiatives. Ultimately, this role ensures that IT business systems are reliable, scalable, and optimized to meet evolving organizational demands.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience managing IT business systems or enterprise applications.
- Extensive experience with NetSuite ERP, Salesforce Sales and Service Clouds, and Arena PLM.
- Proven experience leading cross-functional teams in multiple geographic locations and managing complex IT projects.
- Strong understanding of business processes and how technology can be leveraged to improve them.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in a relevant discipline or MBA with a focus on Information Systems.
- Experience with system integrations (APIs, middleware, iPaaS)
- Certifications such as PMP, ITIL, or Agile methodologies.
- Familiarity with data analytics tools and business intelligence platforms.
- Experience in manufacturing, engineering, or renewable energy industries.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the business applications roadmap, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
- Manage and mentor a team of IT analysts, developers, and support staff to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Collaborate with business units to gather requirements, analyze workflows, and recommend system enhancements.
- Oversee system integration, testing, and troubleshooting to ensure seamless operation and minimal downtime.
- Develop and maintain documentation, policies, and procedures related to IT business systems.
- Coordinate with vendors and third-party service providers to implement and support technology solutions.
- Monitor system performance metrics and implement improvements to optimize efficiency and user experience.
- Ensure compliance with security standards, data privacy regulations, and internal controls.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to deliver IT initiatives on schedule and within scope.
- Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on system status, risks, and opportunities.
