About Your Team
The Cost CoE team was formed in mid 2022 to address the complexity & drivers around cost, create a scalable operating model, and deliver services that drive business performance and ensure regulatory compliance. To progress on the vision of building cost CoE, the primary responsibility of this role would be enhancing the transparency and quality of costs & related datasets. The candidate will be responsible to support drive strategic programmes and develop implementation plans by coordinating with leaders across Controllership and Business finance. The candidate will also contribute to creation and implementation of best practices, cost estimation vision, strategy, policies, processes, and procedures to aid and improve both strategic partnerships and operational aspects.
About Your Role
- Support the Cost COE India Team for ISS business, providing high quality financial insights and analysis around ISS costs.
- Preparation of High level Forecast/ Annual Plan, collaborate with the ISS Business Finance Team (UK) or the forecast owners.
- Provide regular financials update on Direct Cost and Headcount for Actuals and Annual Plan to Budgetholders and ISS Leadership
- Analyze business performance (management and financial), highlight risk and opportunities and drive actions to ensure committed financial outcome
- Adopt a customer-centric mindset to question and understand requirements, producing high quality reports and analytics that meet customer needs and drive cost transparency
- Provide various ad hoc analysis to stakeholders under challenging time frames.
- Ensure adequate controls and checks are in place for each deliverable, along with process documentation
- Build strong, collaborative relationships within the Controllership and Business Finance team and partner with stakeholders across Finance and the wider enterprise.
- Get involved in an exciting range of FIL-wide projects or tasks relating to cost.
About You
- Experienced Manager or equivalent position in the Industry with 7+ years overall experience
- A qualified accountant/MBA from a reputed Institution
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint
- Understand cost accounting and its downstream impact on Controllership and Business Finance
- Knowledge of Essbase, Apptio, SmartView, Oracle Fusion, Apptio, visualisation tools like Alteryx and Tableau would be an advantage
- Good Communication skills
- Strong analytical skills, able to see the big picture and offer innovative solutions
- Able to multi-task and prioritise under pressure.
- Strong team-working skills, ideally with experience of working in a matrix environment.
