Description
As a Manager Corporate Relations, your role will involve engaging with key industry leaders, HR professionals, and corporate partners to enhance relationships and opportunities for student training and placements. Here is a breakdown of your key responsibilities: - Building and maintaining relationships with key industry leaders and HR professionals. - Expanding the network of corporate partners through regular outreach and engagement. - Establishing Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) with leading organizations to promote student training, internships, and placement opportunities. Your role will also include focusing on placement and internship support by: - Developing and implementing strategies to increase campus placement rates. - Organizing pre-placement talks, campus interviews, and industry-specific recruitment drives. - Facilitating summer internships, industrial visits, and live projects to enhance industry exposure for students. In addition, you will be responsible for CSR fund mobilization: - Identifying potential corporate partners for CSR funding aligned with the university's goals. - Preparing and presenting detailed project proposals to secure CSR funding for infrastructure, skill development, and student training programs. - Ensuring proper fund utilization, reporting, and compliance with CSR guidelines. - Building long-term relationships with CSR sponsors through regular updates and outcome reports. Furthermore, your role will involve Center of Excellence (CoE) development by: - Initiating and establishing industry-sponsored Centres of Excellence (CoEs) focused on advanced research, skill development, and innovation. - Collaborating with corporate sponsors to design the infrastructure, curriculum, and operational model of the CoE. - Ensuring the CoE serves as a hub for industry-academia collaboration, providing students with hands-on training and exposure to industry projects. - Monitoring the performance and impact of the CoE, ensuring its long-term sustainability and relevance. You will also be responsible for event management and industry connect by: - Organizing job fairs, industry summits, and networking events to strengthen corporate relationships. - Ensuring the participation of top industry leaders and recruiters in campus events. - Evaluating the success of events and using feedback to enhance future engagement. Your eligibility criteria for this role include: - Educational Qualification: Masters Degree in Business Administration (MBA), Human Resources (HR), Marketing, or a related field. Additional certifications in Corporate Relations, Business Development, or Strategic Management will be an advantage. - Work Experience: Minimum 5 to 8 years of experience in corporate relations, business development, or placement-related roles. - Key Skills and Competencies: Strong networking skills, excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, strategic thinking, ability to manage multiple projects, proficiency in data analysis, among others. - Personal Attributes: Leadership qualities, professionalism, adaptability, problem-solving skills, and a strong commitment to student career development and university-industry partnerships. Preferred industry exposure includes prior experience in educational institutions, corporate social responsibility initiatives, and handling placement drives and career development programs.,
