We are seeking a creative and strategic Manager/Lead of Branding and Social Media to drive 21KSchool's brand presence, social media strategy, and community engagement across all digital platforms. This role is responsible for developing and executing comprehensive social media strategies, managing brand voice and visual identity, creating compelling content, and building engaged communities that amplify 21K School's mission and values. The ideal candidate will combine strong creative capabilities with strategic thinking, data-driven content optimization, and the ability to translate brand strategy into engaging social experiences that drive awareness, engagement, and business results.
● Develop and maintain a cohesive brand strategy that reflects 21K School's mission, values, and positioning
● Establish and enforce brand guidelines, voice, and visual identity across all digital and social channels
● Develop brand messaging frameworks and key talking points for different audience segments
● Ensure consistency of brand representation across all marketing channels and touchpoints
● Create quarterly and annual social media content calendars and campaign plans
● Identify emerging social trends and opportunities to keep 21K School's presence fresh and relevant
● Establish social media team workflows, approval processes, and content guidelines
● Research and recommend new social platforms and tactics to reach target audiences Content
● Develop high-quality, engaging content (posts, videos, stories, carousels, reels, etc.) across social
platforms
● Create diverse content types including educational content, behind-the-scenes, student/teacher testimonials, thought leadership, and trending formats
● Curate relevant third-party content that adds value to 21K School's communities
● Develop content series and campaigns that drive engagement and community participation
● Ensure content is optimized for each platform (format, length, hashtags, timing, etc.)
● Create opportunities for community participation and user-generated content
● Address negative feedback and manage crisis communications with professionalism and empathy
● Develop initiatives that encourage sharing and advocacy among users and partners
● Track and analyze social media performance metrics across all platforms
● Conduct A/B testing of content, messaging, and posting strategies to optimize performance
● Identify top-performing content and successful engagement tactics for replication
● Develop content templates and frameworks for efficient production Cross-Functional Collaboration
● Ensure brand account security and access management
● Stay current with platform algorithm changes and new features
● Train and support team members on social media tools and best practices
● Minimum 4-6 years of social media management and/or content marketing experience
● Demonstrated success managing social media for B2B, B2C, or SaaS brands
● Experience in education, EdTech, or nonprofit sectors is highly preferred
● Proven track record of building engaged communities and increasing follower base organically
● Experience with all major social media platforms and their unique content requirements
● Track record of developing engaging content that drives engagement and conversions
● Experience managing social media budgets and paid social advertising campaigns
● Excellent data analysis skills and ability to draw actionable insights from metrics
● Understanding of content marketing, SEO, and digital marketing principles
● Project management skills with ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
● Video production and editing experience (or strong working knowledge) is a plus
● HTML, CSS, or basic coding knowledge is helpful but not requiredEducation
● Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Business, or related field
● Digital marketing certification or social media management certification is preferred
● Multi-language proficiency (especially relevant for international markets)
● Photography or videography skills
● Experience with marketing automation and email integration with social channels
● Creative Excellence: Ability to develop compelling, original content ideas that resonate with audiences
● Strategic Thinking: Understanding of how social media supports broader business objectives
● Data-Driven Mindset: Reliance on metrics and analytics to inform decisions and strategy

Structure
● Team Size: 1-3 direct reports (Content creators, social media coordinators, or community managers
depending on structure)
● Social Channels Managed: LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Twitter/X, Facebook, and
emerging platforms as appropriate
● Content Production: 10-20+ pieces of content per week across all platforms Performance Metrics
