Job Summary

Synechron is seeking an experienced Manager - Agile Coach to lead and guide enterprise-wide Agile transformation initiatives. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing milestone-driven project plans, fostering Agile best practices, and ensuring alignment across cross-functional teams. By applying servant leadership and domain expertise, you will drive program success, facilitate collaboration, and support continuous improvement to meet strategic organizational objectives. Your influence will enhance delivery efficiency, transparency, and stakeholder engagement across the organization.

Software Requirements

Required Skills:

  • Proficiency with Agile project management tools such as Jira, Rally, or VersionOne, with experience in creating dashboards, tracking progress, dependencies, and risks
  • Strong familiarity with enterprise data architecture, data governance, and API management concepts
  • Competence in collaboration and communication tools (e.g., MS Teams, SharePoint, Confluence)

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with enterprise architecture tools or frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, ArchiMate)
  • Familiarity with data integration platforms and SFT (Secure File Transfer) technology
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) as they relate to data and project integrations

Overall Responsibilities

  • Develop advanced milestone-centric project plans to ensure timely delivery of program goals
  • Drive Agile methodologies and best practices across teams, demonstrating servant leadership and fostering a culture of continuous improvement
  • Facilitate key Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, retrospectives, dependency, and capacity planning meetings
  • Collaborate with internal data governance and compliance teams to ensure data quality and regulatory adherence
  • Manage cross-team dependencies, track progress using relevant metrics, and escalate issues proactively
  • Support product and program managers with reporting on milestones, progress status, risks, and dependencies
  • Lead efforts to identify, document, and mitigate project risks, impediments, and resourcing challenges
  • Partner with enterprise architects, data engineers, and platform teams to integrate third-party data sources securely into data warehouses and other platforms
  • Promote transparency and effective communication with stakeholders, including escalating key risks and dependencies to senior leadership
  • Foster a culture of agility, innovation, and proactive problem-solving to meet organizational goals

Technical Skills (By Category)

Project Management & Collaboration:

  • Essential: Jira, Rally, or VersionOne; project tracking, milestone planning, dependency management
  • Preferred: Microsoft Project, Confluence, SharePoint

Data & API Architecture:

  • Essential: Data governance principles, enterprise data architecture, API design and management
  • Preferred: Experience with integration platforms such as MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, or similar tools

Cloud & Data Platforms:

  • Preferred: AWS, GCP, or Azure cloud services for data sharing and platform integration

Methodologies & Frameworks:

  • Essential: Agile, Scrum, Kanban methodologies, capacity planning, and project lifecycle management

Security & Compliance:

  • Preferred: Knowledge of data security practices, SFT, and regulatory standards

Experience Requirements

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience leading enterprise project management and Agile transformation initiatives
  • Proven track record of implementing milestone-based project plans and delivering complex programs within data-driven environments
  • Strong experience collaborating with data governance, architecture, and platform teams involving data integrations
  • Experience in mentoring teams, driving agile maturity, and managing dependencies across multiple teams
  • Industry experience in financial services, technology, or enterprise data environments preferred; alternative sectors accepted

Day-to-Day Activities

  • Lead the creation and management of milestone-centric project plans aligned with organizational strategic goals
  • Facilitate sprint planning, retrospectives, and program-level coordination across diverse teams
  • Define and track dependencies, risks, and key performance metrics to ensure project milestones are achieved
  • Collaborate with data governance, architecture, and platform teams to support secure data sharing and integration
  • Communicate program status, escalations, and risk mitigations to senior leadership and stakeholders
  • Support teams in identifying impediments and resource needs, and escalate issues proactively
  • Promote continuous improvement practices by measuring progress, collecting feedback, and implementing process enhancements
  • Ensure compliance with data quality, security standards, and organizational policies

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Data Science, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields
  • Certifications such as SAFe Program Consultant (SPC), PMI-ACP, Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), or relevant project management and Agile certifications preferred
  • Extensive experience managing large-scale projects with multiple dependencies and cross-functional teams
