Maintenance Mechanic

Job Summary:

Responsible for Plant Utility Equipments, SF6,Transformer room, GOD structure & related HT, LT equipments,AMC Mgmt, Energy Mgmt, Preventive, Predictive, Specialized maintenance, Repairing, Utility projects, installation and commissioning, HSE standards implementation, Shopfloor utilities, MHE area works, MSEDCL related works

Roles And Responsibilities

End to End AMC management for all 10 vendors (DG,Compressors,Air dryers,MHE area, annual activities of transformer ACB,VCB , Wrapping m/c, UPS, Kardex management etc) and invoice bookings.Vendor selection basis technical competencyQuote review, negotiation, SOW scope discussionPR and PO follow upvendor Visit schedule preparationService pre permits approvals, on site vendor supervisionManaging cost within budget, payment follow upsSpares creation and stock manasgment for non comprehensive AMCs22 KV cable change project executionSolar Opex 462Kwp PPA draft Agreement , Execution , supervison, supplier follow ups,VFD project for 1000cfm compressorsGOD structure and transformer activitiesGRC Audit coordination, participation in AuditImplement all energy saving initiatives, track and follow up the actions.Timley Submit summary implementation report timelyIR audit and open action timely closureMonitor enery consumption of various sources in plant machineriesEnergy metrics update MOS weekly/monthlyLaise with inspector of factoriesWork to meet electrical standards and compliance with the local MSEB Electrical authorityAir compressor energy saving initiativesExecute zero leak arrest planprepare and install SOW to all utility equipments, create proceduresPlan utility resource, cable, pneumatic lines, and energy source for new installationsMachine loading, unloading , moving to locationVendor follow up, supervision, payement follow ups.Upkeep new machines as per standard installation procedure and with all HSE requirements .Responsible for implementation of all applicable HSE standards in utility and plant.All incidents RCA & outcome actions closureAll HSE issues related to Shopfloor & utilitySupport in Safety projects- UPS relocation,All ISO and Customer audits, actions for closure of NC'sOpen safety points closure: Shopfloor,utility, FG, MHEUtility battery repalcement as per life expectency, plan procure, installDisposal of utility scrap, used batteriesWork closely with GEM leader, implement all applicable standards in maintenanceFollow up and collect evidences and keep in folderHSE Audits participation and its open action implementationGRC audit participation and open action implementationEnergy Audit participation and open action implementationIS015000 Auidit participationTPM audits internalTS audits participation and open action closureCustomer audits and open action closureInspector of factories visit coordination and open action closure

Skills And Knowledge Required

Experience in Maintenance of Utility equipments e.g. DG, compressors, Air washers, Air dryers, Transformer,GOD,SF6 and Troubleshooting knowledge of UPS Systems, HT, LT equipments, energy conservation, Garrett Safety norms, Arc flash assessment , LOTO, confined space, ladders, chemical safety elements with Garrett industry standards like Kaizen, Poka yokes, 5S, TPM implementation

Experience And Education Required

Qualification : ITI/Diploma Electrical license holderExperience : 4-5 years of experience
