Maintenance Mechanic

As a Repair and Maintenance Technician at Maersk Warehousing and Distribution USA LLC, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of machinery and mechanical equipment within our storage facilities. Your focus on maintaining and repairing various systems will contribute to the efficiency and effectiveness of our logistics operations. - Knowledge and experience working with conveyor systems, electrical 3-phase motor controls/PLC, and overall material handling experience. - Perform repair, inspection, and installation of conveyor systems, racking, balers, air compressors, carton sealers, etc., and all other building and support areas. - Recognize potential malfunctions and proactively repair to mitigate costs. - Maintain complete repair order records. - Inspect and dismantle mechanical devices to locate causes of trouble and remove defective parts. - Adjust functional parts of devices and control instruments, repair or replace defective parts, and install special functional and structural parts. - Lubricate, clean, and test devices for performance. - Operate metalworking tools to make and repair parts. - Initiate purchase orders for parts and machines and repair electrical equipment. - Position is full-time and on-site. - Must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. - Previous experience working with conveyor systems, electrical controls, and material handling is preferred. - Ability to troubleshoot and repair mechanical equipment effectively. - Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently. - Experience with metalworking tools and repair processes is a plus.,
