About the Role: We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Plant Maintenance Engineer to oversee and ensure the smooth and efficient operation of our Nana Chiloda and Kadadara plants. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in all areas of plant maintenance, including electrical, mechanical, civil, and plumbing systems. This individual will play a key role in maintaining plant operations, managing routine and preventive maintenance, addressing machine breakdowns, and coordinating with internal and external teams for effective project execution. Responsibilities: Routine Plant Maintenance: Oversee and manage daily maintenance activities to ensure plant equipment and machinery are operating efficiently and effectively. Breakdown Maintenance: Attend and resolve any machine breakdowns promptly while minimizing downtime. Ensure adherence to the preventive maintenance schedule. Preventive Maintenance: Develop, implement, and monitor preventive maintenance plans to improve equipment lifespan and reduce the likelihood of future breakdowns. Planning and Coordination: Coordinate with various departments (e.g., production, procurement) and outside agencies (e.g., contractors, vendors) to complete maintenance tasks and projects on time. Project Expansion & New Setups: Lead the planning and execution of new setups and project expansions. Ensure timely completion of all related maintenance and installation work. Team Leadership: Supervise and guide a team of 3-4 technicians/ITI or engineers. Ensure the team follows best practices in maintenance procedures and safety standards. ERP/SAP Maintenance Module: Utilize ERP/SAP systems for plant maintenance activities. Ensure all maintenance tasks, breakdowns, and repairs are properly documented and tracked within the system. MIS Reporting: Prepare and submit regular Maintenance Information System (MIS) reports, tracking key metrics, progress, and any issues related to plant maintenance. Communication: Maintain clear and effective communication with management, staff, and external contractors. Provide updates on maintenance activities, progress on tasks, and any challenges encountered. Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil Engineering, or a related field. Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in plant maintenance or related engineering fields, with hands-on experience in electrical, mechanical, civil, and plumbing maintenance. At least 2 years of experience in a team lead or supervisory role, managing a small team of technicians or engineers. Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of plant machinery, electrical, mechanical, civil, and plumbing systems. Proficient in ERP/SAP plant maintenance modules. Ability to develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules. Additional Requirements: Willingness to work in a team-oriented environment.
