Role Overview We are seeking an experienced Collection Executive with a strong background in first-party and third-party US healthcare collections . The ideal candidate will have exceptional communication skills, proven expertise in handling patient and payer collections, and the ability to drive revenue recovery while maintaining compliance and empathy in patient engagement. Key Responsibilities Manage end-to-end collections process for assigned US healthcare accounts (patients & payers). Handle first-party collections (direct provider-patient engagement) and third-party collections (insurance, agencies, payers). Follow up on outstanding patient balances, unpaid claims, and denials with tact and professionalism. Engage with patients over phone/email to negotiate payment arrangements, resolve billing queries, and ensure positive patient experience . Collaborate with internal teams (AR, billing, coding, and denial management) for account resolution . Maintain detailed, accurate notes of all patient/insurance interactions in the system. Ensure compliance with HIPAA, FDCPA, and US healthcare collection laws at all times. Meet and exceed monthly collection targets and KPIs. Provide feedback on recurring denial/payment trends to leadership for process improvement. Required Skills & Qualifications 1-3 years of core US healthcare collection experience (mandatory). Strong knowledge of first-party & third-party collections in US healthcare. Familiarity with RCM processes – billing, coding, payment posting, denials, AR follow-up. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong negotiation and patient engagement skills to drive revenue recovery. Proficient in MS Office, healthcare collection tools/portals, and EMR/EHR systems. Strong analytical skills with ability to identify payer/denial trends. Ability to work in a target-driven, fast-paced environment . Flexible for US shift timings (Night Shifts – EST/PST support).
