- Manage a technical lab environment comprised of ATE testers, handlers, probers, and bench equipment
- First responder for ATE uptime, responsible for maintaining tester usability and troubleshooting to bring up equipment.
- Coordinate and schedule routine preventive maintenance and calibrations
- Work directly with ATE vendors for escalations and develop relationships
- Allocate testers, tools, and other resources to support NPIs.
- Prepare, monitor, and update test floor capacity to support test debugging, engineering samples, and pilot production lots.
- Benchmark equipment utilization for capacity planning and management
- Drive continuous improvement for processes and procedures for running the lab environment efficiently
- Manage product inventory and lot movements on the test floor.
- Understand and implement ISO requirements for test environments to ensure zero non-conformances.
- Manage budget - capable of creating annual and tracking of budget
- Generate weekly/ monthly management updates on operations metrics.
Qualifications
Competency Requirements
- Fundamental knowledge in ATEs, peripheral tools, and their operational aspects (e.g., Teradyne, Advantest testers, Tri-temp Probers, and auto-handlers).
- Some understanding of correlations, calibration, golden unit test, preventive maintenance, and production release processes.
- Ability to establish operational procedures and monitor compliance.
- Strong communication with peer groups and internal customers on operational performance and supporting development requirements.
- Experience in driving root cause analysis and CA/PA/8D reports.
- Self-starter, fast learner, good communicator, able to work in a matrix organization, and juggle multiple tasks.
- Knowledgeable about ESD controls, GRR, OEE, 8D, ISO-9000, JIRA and MS-Office tools.
Minimum Qualifications
- BSEE/ME with a minimum of 5 years of experience in test operations.
- 3+ overall years of experience in silicon/HW lab setup, management, and maintenance.
