Lab Manager

Job Description: As the Lab Manager for the Prototype Lab within the Research and Development (R&D) Unit of the Drone Technology division, you will oversee the day-to-day operations, manage a team, and ensure successful development and testing of drone prototypes. Your role demands technical expertise, leadership skills, and hands-on innovation in drone technology. Key Responsibilities: - Lab Operations Management: - Oversee daily operations, resource allocation, and safety protocols. - Maintain and organize lab space, equipment, and tools. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams for project alignment. - Team Leadership: - Lead and motivate a multidisciplinary team. - Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment. - Provide guidance, support team members, and conduct training. - Project Management: - Develop and execute prototyping plans within timelines. - Collaborate with R&D leadership to define project objectives. - Monitor prototype progress and address deviations promptly. - Technical Expertise: - Stay updated on drone technology developments. - Provide technical guidance, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate with external partners. - Quality Assurance: - Implement quality control processes for reliability. - Develop testing protocols and collaborate with the V&V team. - Documentation and Reporting: - Maintain records of experiments, prototypes, and testing results. - Generate comprehensive reports and assist in documentation preparation. Qualifications: - Bachelor's or higher degree in relevant engineering or scientific discipline. - Leadership experience in R&D or prototype lab environment. - Strong background in drone technology or related fields. - Excellent project management, organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills. - Familiarity with safety and compliance standards. - Ability to adapt to a dynamic work environment. - Preferably 10+ years of experience at a senior level with a strong and influential personality. - Experience in operational activities, inventory management, resource allocation, project management, team leadership, training, procurement, store and lab design, storage management, reporting, and analysis is required.,
