Job Description

Key Responsibilities: New Client Acquisition: Lead efforts in acquiring new clients within the IT, BFSI (Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance) or Consumer Practice sectors. Conduct thorough market research to identify potential opportunities and develop strategies for penetrating new markets. Manage the end-to-end sales cycle from lead generation to closing deals, ensuring consistent growth in client portfolio. Hunting and Farming: Actively hunt for new business opportunities while also farming existing accounts to ensure deep engagement, growth, and retention. Develop and implement account development strategies that drive revenue, improve client satisfaction, and uncover additional opportunities within existing relationships. Utilize upselling and cross-selling strategies to expand business within assigned accounts. Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain long-term relationships with senior stakeholders, including C-suite executives and decision-makers within client organizations. Take a proactive approach to understanding client needs and expectations, ensuring that both strategic and tactical goals are met. Act as the key liaison between the client and internal teams, facilitating effective communication and alignment. BFSI or Consumer Practice Domain Expertise: Apply deep industry knowledge in IT, BFSI or Consumer Practice to advise clients on tailored solutions, providing insights into current trends, market changes, and new opportunities. Leverage sector-specific expertise to deliver solutions that align with the clients long-term strategic goals. Client Visits: Regularly meet with clients in-person to strengthen relationships, gather feedback, and ensure alignment with their goals. Organize and conduct client meetings, workshops, and presentations to discuss progress, challenges, and future business plans. Travel as needed to attend client meetings, industry events, and networking opportunities. Candidate must have: Bachelor's degree or Master's in Business, Marketing, or related field (Masters preferred). 5-10 years of experience in Key Account Management or a similar role, with proven success in managing high-value clients and driving business growth. Strong understanding of the BFSI or Consumer Practice industry (domain expertise is a must). A track record of achieving sales targets, managing key client relationships, and leading account development strategies. Ability to work in a fast-paced, results-driven environment while maintaining a focus on client satisfaction and long-term relationship building.
