Company: Oriental Cuisines Pvt Ltd Location: Chennai Department: IT & Systems Experience: 6–12 Years (Hospitality / QSR / Retail preferred) Employment Type: Full-Time Role Summary The IT Manager will be responsible for managing and supporting all technology systems across Oriental Cuisines, including restaurants, bakery units, commissaries, and corporate offices. The role involves overseeing IT infrastructure, POS systems, data security, networking, application support (Spine HRMS/ERP), coordinating with vendors, and ensuring uninterrupted IT operations across multiple locations. Key Responsibilities 1. IT Infrastructure Management Manage and maintain servers, networks, firewalls, routers, CCTV, biometric, and Wi-Fi systems across units. Ensure uptime of all systems used in restaurant and commissary operations. Monitor health of IT hardware across all outlets and plan preventive maintenance. 2. POS & Software Support Manage installation, updates, troubleshooting, and training of POS systems used in outlets. Provide L1/L2 support for ERP/HRMS applications such as Spine, PayAsia, and internal systems. Coordinate with software vendors for issue resolution and enhancements. 3. Data Security & Backup Ensure proper data backup, restore procedures, and disaster recovery processes. Implement security policies, antivirus deployment, and access control. Monitor user rights and protect company data across all units. 4. Networking & Connectivity Maintain WAN/LAN connectivity between outlets, commissaries, HO, and vendors. Monitor network bandwidth, troubleshoot connectivity issues, and ensure business continuity. 5. Asset & Vendor Management Maintain updated IT asset register for all hardware and software. Handle AMC, warranty tracking, procurement, and vendor negotiations. Raise PR/PO requests for IT materials and ensure timely delivery. 6. User Support & Training Provide daily technical support to HO and outlet teams (Windows, email, network, POS). Conduct basic IT training for new employees. Maintain Help Desk ticketing system and ensure SLA compliance. 7. Audits & Compliance Ensure compliance with company data policies and IT SOPs. Assist finance/audit teams with IT-related documentation. Oversee cybersecurity checks and system updates. 8. New Outlet Setup Plan complete IT setup for new stores (POS, network, CCTV, systems). Ensure go-live readiness with zero downtime. Key Skills Required Strong knowledge of POS systems (QSR/Restaurant environment). Expertise in Windows OS, Networking, Routers, Firewalls, CCTV, Biometric. Experience with ERP/HRMS systems (Spine, PayAsia preferred). Basic SQL knowledge (optional but added advantage). Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills. Ability to manage multiple locations and work under pressure. Communication & team handling skills. Qualifications Bachelor’s in Computer Science / IT / Engineering. Certifications preferred: CCNA, MCSA, Azure, ITIL (not mandatory but gives priority). Minimum 6–12 years experience in IT operations. Salary Range ₹35,000 – ₹60,000 per month (Based on experience) Mobile allowance Travel allowance for outlet visits
