Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Inventory Manager to oversee and optimize inventory operations for a luxury designer store/interior design environment. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing high-value inventory, coordinating with premium vendors, and ensuring seamless stock movement with a strong focus on accuracy, planning, and operational excellence. This role is critical to ensuring product availability, maintaining stock integrity, and supporting smooth store and project operations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Inventory Control & Stock Management

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records for all products, materials, samples, and accessories.
• Ensure precise tracking of stock inflow and outflow using established systems and documentation processes.
• Monitor inventory levels to avoid stockouts or overstock situations.
• Conduct cycle counts, physical stock checks, and periodic audits to maintain inventory accuracy.
• Investigate discrepancies, identify root causes, and implement corrective measures.

2. Procurement & Vendor Coordination

• Coordinate with procurement and vendor teams for timely replenishment of items.
• Follow up on purchase orders, delivery timelines, and quality checks on received goods.
• Build strong working relationships with vendors, suppliers, and logistics partners.
• Ensure all vendor documents, invoices, and receipts are properly recorded and maintained.

3. Warehouse & Material Handling Management

• Oversee the storage, organization, and arrangement of inventory across warehouse and store locations.
• Ensure optimal use of storage space, cleanliness, and safety standards.
• Implement and monitor best practices for material handling to prevent damage or loss.
• Ensure proper labeling, tagging, and classification of all items.

4. Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain all inventory-related documentation, including GRNs, stock registers, purchase records, and audit reports.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports for management review.
• Analyze consumption patterns and provide insights for forecasting and stock planning.
• Support finance and audit teams with timely and accurate data.

5. Inventory Planning & Forecasting

• Forecast inventory requirements based on project demands, store sales, seasonal trends, and vendor lead times.
• Plan and execute stock replenishment strategies to ensure product availability.
• Contribute to annual budgeting and supply planning activities.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong expertise in inventory management systems (ERP, POS, WMS preferred).
• In-depth understanding of stock planning, GRN processing, and inventory auditing.
• Excellent coordination skills for working with vendors, procurement, and design teams.
• High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and process-oriented thinking.
• Ability to analyze data and prepare detailed stock reports.
• Strong problem-solving skills in handling stock discrepancies and logistics issues.
• Experience managing inventory for high-value products, premium materials, or luxury items (mandatory).
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, design-driven, client-centric environment.

Qualification Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations, Supply Chain, or a related field.
• Professional certifications in inventory or supply chain management (preferred).

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
