Job Description

Job Title: Inside Sales Manager


***Experience from Education / Edtech industry is must.***


Responsibilities-


Sales Strategy & Planning

  • Develop and execute effective sales strategies to achieve revenue goals and meet organizational targets.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to ensure sales objectives align with overall business priorities.
  • Conduct in-depth market research to identify potential customer segments and growth opportunities.
  • Establish sales methodologies, processes, and performance metrics to maximize efficiency.


Team Leadership & Development

  • Recruit, train, and lead a high-performing inside sales team.
  • Provide coaching, mentorship, and ongoing support to enhance sales capabilities.
  • Set clear performance expectations, track progress, and deliver regular feedback.
  • Foster a collaborative, motivated, and high-energy team culture that promotes knowledge sharing.


Sales Operations & Execution

  • Manage daily operations of the inside sales function to ensure streamlined processes.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, customer service, and other departments to enhance customer engagement.
  • Monitor pipelines, track performance data, and identify areas for improvement.
  • Implement sales enablement tools, CRM systems, and technology to improve productivity.


Customer Relationship Management

  • Build strong relationships with customers by identifying needs and delivering tailored solutions.
  • Conduct product demonstrations, presentations, and negotiations to secure new business.
  • Partner with marketing to design targeted campaigns and lead generation strategies.


Performance Analysis & Reporting

  • Analyze sales data and key performance indicators to evaluate team and individual results.
  • Prepare regular reports, forecasts, and insights for leadership.
  • Identify trends, provide recommendations, and adjust strategies to improve outcomes.
  • Stay up to date with market developments, competitor activities, and industry best practices.


Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • Proven experience in inside sales or sales management with a history of exceeding targets.
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation abilities.
  • Strategic thinker with a problem-solving mindset and customer-first approach.
  • Proficiency with CRM platforms, sales tools, and data analytics.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Knowledge of modern sales techniques, negotiation practices, and market trends.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
  • Passion for delivering outstanding customer experiences.
