Job Title: Inside Sales Team Lead Location: Agra, Uttar Pradesh Experience: 7+ years Department: Sales / Inside Sales Role Overview: Oswal Books is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Inside Sales Team Lead to manage and guide our inside sales team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales leadership, excellent communication skills, and the ability to drive revenue growth through effective team management, strategy execution, and customer engagement. The role involves managing a team of inside sales executives, coordinating with marketing and operations teams, and ensuring consistent achievement of sales targets while maintaining high customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities: Team Leadership & Management Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of inside sales executives to achieve individual and team sales targets. Conduct regular performance reviews, provide constructive feedback, and implement improvement plans. Organize training sessions to enhance sales skills, product knowledge, and customer handling techniques. Sales Strategy & Execution Develop and implement inside sales strategies to drive revenue growth. Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly sales performance and provide actionable insights to the team. Identify new opportunities, customer segments, and potential upselling/cross-selling avenues. Customer Engagement & Relationship Management Handle key customer accounts and complex client interactions when required. Ensure timely resolution of client queries and maintain strong customer relationships. Collaborate with marketing to execute campaigns and promotional activities. Reporting & Analytics Prepare and present sales reports, KPIs, and dashboards to senior management. Analyze sales data to identify trends, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement. Maintain accurate CRM records for leads, prospects, and conversions. Process Improvement & Collaboration Work with operations, logistics, and finance teams to ensure smooth order processing and delivery. Identify gaps in sales processes and recommend process improvements for efficiency. Ensure compliance with company policies and standard operating procedures. Required Skills & Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. 7+ years of experience in inside sales, preferably in the publishing or FMCG sector. Proven track record in leading sales teams and achieving revenue targets. Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in CRM software, MS Office, and sales reporting tools. Ability to analyze data, interpret sales metrics, and implement action plans. Strong organizational skills and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
