Role Overview
We're looking for an energetic and driven Inside Sales Manager to own the top of our sales funnel. You'll be responsible for identifying and qualifying leads, nurturing client relationships, and helping close strategic opportunities across industries like retail, FMCG, electronics, and BFSI. You’ll work closely with the Business Development team and leadership to drive growth and revenue.
Key Responsibilities
● Generate qualified leads through outbound calling, emailing, and LinkedIn outreach.
● Develop a steady pipeline by targeting brands, agencies, and marketing heads.
● Understand Katha’s media offerings and tailor pitches to client objectives.
● Manage the various stages of the sales funnel—qualification, need analysis, and pitch.
● Maintain CRM hygiene and report key metrics (pipeline, conversions, engagement).
● Book and schedule discovery calls or demos for senior sales leads.
● Collaborate with marketing on outbound campaigns and content support.
● Follow up on warm leads from inbound sources and events.
● Help close deals independently, and hand over larger accounts to the BD/sales team.
Requirements
● 3–5 years of inside sales experience in a B2B setup, preferably in advertising/media/SaaS.
● Proven ability to meet or exceed lead-gen and conversion targets.
● Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
● Strong proficiency with CRM tools (e.g., Zoho, HubSpot) and sales automation platforms.
● Ability to work independently and with remote/hybrid teams.
● A hustler’s mindset: resourceful, persistent, and data-driven.
Good to Have
● Understanding of the media or advertising sales cycle.
● Exposure to agency networks and brand marketing teams.
● Prior experience working in a startup or growth-stage environment.
