IT Support Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Planning and Development

• Develop and implement IT infrastructure strategies aligned with business goals.
• Manage budgeting for IT infrastructure and optimize resource allocation.
• Handle vendor selection, negotiation, and relationship management.

Infrastructure Management

• Oversee network, server, and data center design, deployment, and maintenance.
• Manage cloud infrastructure and ensure seamless integration with on-prem systems.
• Implement secure and efficient data storage, backup, and disaster recovery solutions.

Team Leadership and Development

• Lead and mentor a team of IT professionals including helpdesk, network, and system admins.
• Promote continuous learning and professional development.
• Set performance goals and conduct regular evaluations.

Security and Compliance

• Enforce IT security policies to safeguard infrastructure.
• Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and industry standards.
• Manage incident response and resolution for infrastructure-related issues.

Operational Efficiency

• Monitor IT systems proactively to identify and resolve issues.
• Implement IT service management practices (e.g., ITIL) for high service reliability.
• Manage infrastructure changes with minimal business disruption.

Innovation and Continuous Improvement

• Stay updated on emerging technologies and assess their relevance.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance service quality and reduce costs.

Communication and Collaboration

• Act as a liaison between IT and other departments to align infrastructure projects with business needs.
• Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams for seamless IT operations.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in IT support or infrastructure management.
• Strong knowledge of networking, server administration, cloud services, and IT security.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
• Certifications like CCNA, MCSE, ITIL, or equivalent are a plus.

Work Environment:

• On-site role based in Noida, Sector 6.
• May require occasional travel to other office locations or data centers.
