Job Role Description:

We are looking for an ambitious & dynamic Business Development Manager (BDM) to join our team at RootAMZ. This role is focused on working with global vendors & sellers to bring new business opportunities to the organisation. You will play a critical role in expanding our client base, building strong relationships with international partners & leading the sales team to achieve growth targets.


Requirements:

  1. A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a comparable discipline.
  2. 4+ years of experience in business development, sales or account management, required in Software sales, eCommerce or digital services.
  3. Demonstrated success in acquiring new business & overseeing major client accounts.
  4. Strong leadership & team management & team building skills.
  5. Excellent communication, negotiation & presentation skills.
  6. Ability to build & maintain long-term relationships with global vendors & sellers.
  7. Strategic thinker with a results-driven approach.


Responsibilities

  1. Identify & develop new business opportunities with global vendors & sellers.
  2. Build & nurture strong relationships with potential & existing clients to drive business growth.
  3. Develop & implement strategic sales plans to achieve organisational revenue targets.
  4. Work closely with the marketing & account management teams to ensure seamless client onboarding & support.
  5. Guide, mentor & inspire the sales team to achieve & surpass performance targets.
  6. Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities & potential partnerships.
  7. Prepare & deliver compelling presentations & proposals to prospective clients.
  8. Negotiate contracts & close agreements to maximize profits while ensuring client satisfaction.
  9. Represent RootAMZ at industry events, trade shows & networking opportunities to enhance brand presence & develop partnerships.
  10. Provide regular reports on business development activities, sales performance & pipeline updates to senior management.
