Role Overview

HR Manager

Key Responsibilities

1. HR Operations & Policy Implementation

  • Develop and implement HR policies, systems, and documentation.
  • Manage onboarding, attendance, payroll coordination, and exit formalities.
  • Ensure statutory compliance (PF, ESI, Gratuity, Shops & Establishments Act, etc.).
  • Maintain HRMS/employee database across departments.

2. Recruitment & Manpower Planning

  • Collaborate with business heads to understand hiring needs across teams.
  • Manage the full recruitment cycle — sourcing, screening, interviews, and offer roll-out.
  • Drive proactive hiring through headhunting, LinkedIn outreach, and referrals.
  • Coordinate with external recruiters and ensure timely closures.

3. Payroll & Compliance Management

  • Oversee end-to-end payroll processing and salary structuring.
  • Ensure accuracy in deductions (PF, ESI, TDS, PT, etc.) and coordinate with Accounts.
  • Handle audits, maintain statutory registers, and ensure labour law compliance.

4. Employee Engagement & Performance Management

  • Plan and execute engagement and welfare initiatives to promote a positive culture.
  • Manage employee grievances and disciplinary matters.
  • Support managers in KPI setting, performance appraisals, and training needs.
  • Prepare HR analytics on performance, attrition, and headcount.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Graduate or Postgraduate in

    Human Resources or related field

    .
  • 7–9 years of HR experience

    in

    real estate, construction, or infrastructure

    sectors.
  • Strong knowledge of HR operations, compliance, and performance management systems.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office and HR software tools.
  • Ability to independently establish HR systems in a growing organization.
