Role Description


We are seeking a highly organized and proactive HR Manager to oversee the complete HR operations across KGI. The ideal candidate will handle end-to-end HR functions, ensure compliance, support institutional growth, and maintain a healthy work environment.



Required Qualifications


Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in HR or related field.


5 - 10 years of HR experience (preferably in the education sector).


Strong knowledge of HR operations, payroll, EPF/ESI compliance, and recruitment processes.


Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.


Ability to multitask and manage a dynamic work environment.




Key Responsibilities


1. HR Operations & Office Management


Oversee the entire HR office and workflow across all KGI institutions.


Ensure alignment of HR practices with organizational goals.


2. Talent Acquisition


Drive timely recruitment based on staffing needs.


Manage the entire hiring cycle: job posting → screening → interviews → selection.


Build and maintain a talent pipeline for faculty and administrative roles.


3. Payroll & Compliance


Oversee payroll preparation and disbursement.


Ensure statutory compliance including EPF & ESI.


Maintain accurate employee records and documentation.


4. Staffing & Documentation


Manage complete staffing processes across departments.


Prepare and issue:


Offer letters


Appointment letters


Contracts & service agreements


Ensure accurate onboarding documentation.


5. Onboarding & Employee Lifecycle


Lead structured onboarding programs for new hires.


Create & review appraisal systems and performance evaluation structures.


Monitor employee wellbeing, engagement, and team culture.


Handle employee grievance redressal when needed.


6. Employee Exit Management


Manage resignations, exit interviews, experience letters, and F&F processes.


Ensure smooth and compliant offboarding.
