Job Description

Key Responsibilities: Supervise and manage the residential or hostel facilities. Supervise Assistant Wardens and support staff (security, housekeeping, etc.). Allocate duties, monitor performance, and provide training when needed. Organize regular meetings with wardens to address issues or concerns. Address grievances and complaints from residents in a timely and effective manner. Facilitate activities or programs promoting a positive living environment. Ensure proper maintenance of facilities and timely response to maintenance requests. Oversee safety protocols including fire drills, emergency evacuation plans, and first aid. Monitor visitor entries and enforce curfew or access restrictions. Coordinate with local authorities in case of emergencies or serious incidents. Liaise with university/college administration or management on hostel matters. Maintain records of occupancy, incident reports, complaints, and inventories. Ensure compliance with regulatory and institutional policies. Ensure discipline, safety, and well-being of all residents. Implement and enforce hostel rules and regulations. Qualifications: Typically 8–15 years of relevant experience in administration, preferably in a residential/hostel or educational institution. Ex military or policeman preferred. Prior experience in managing teams and handling youth-related issues is highly desirable. Leadership and conflict-resolution skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Ability to remain calm and authoritative under pressure. Job Type: Full-time Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month Schedule: Day shift Work Location: In person
