Job Title: HR Generalist – India Office Location: Hyderabad, Telangana, India (On-site) Bectran is looking for a driven and experienced HR Generalist to serve as the sole HR lead in our India office. This is a unique opportunity to manage the full scope of HR functions while partnering closely with our U.S. team. What You’ll Do Act as the primary HR representative for Bectran’s India office, overseeing daily HR operations and serving as a strategic partner to leadership Develop and enforce HR policies that align with Indian labor laws and company standards Lead full-cycle recruitment efforts for technical and administrative roles, including onboarding and orientation Handle employee relations, address workplace concerns, and drive engagement initiatives to promote a positive and inclusive culture Support performance management processes, including evaluations, feedback, and improvement planning Administer local compensation and benefits programs, working with vendors and internal teams to ensure accurate and timely support Maintain employee records and deliver HR reporting and metrics to support strategic planning Ensure workplace compliance with health, safety, and labor regulations What We’re Looking For 5–7 years of progressive HR experience, ideally in tech or SaaS environments Strong understanding of Indian labor laws, compliance requirements, and HR best practices Proven ability to work independently in a stand-alone HR role while collaborating effectively with global teams Skilled in handling employee relations, policy implementation, and full-cycle recruitment Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources or a related field; HR certifications such as SHRM-CP or PHR are a plus Comfortable using HRIS platforms, Microsoft Office, and HR data tools for reporting and decision-making Why Bectran?
