Job Summary:

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented HR Associate with 2-3 years of relevant experience to join our Human Resources team in Mumbai. The HR Associate will play a crucial role in supporting various HR functions, contributing to a positive and productive work environment. Key responsibilities:

Recruitment & Onboarding:

• Assist in the full recruitment lifecycle, including job posting, sourcing candidates through various channels, screening applications, coordinating interviews, and conducting initial interviews.
• Prepare offer letters and manage the onboarding process, ensuring a smooth and positive experience for new hires.
• Maintain and update the applicant tracking system (ATS) and recruitment-related documentation.

Employee Relations:

• Serve as a point of contact for employee queries and concerns, providing timely and accurate information.
• Assist in the implementation of employee engagement initiatives and activities.
• Support the HR Manager in addressing employee grievances and disciplinary matters, ensuring fair and consistent application of policies.

HR Operations & Administration:

• Maintain and update employee records and HR databases with accuracy and confidentiality.
• Assist in the administration of HR policies and procedures.
• Manage employee attendance, leave records, and other HR-related administrative tasks.
• Coordinate with other departments for HR-related processes and requirements.
• Prepare HR-related reports and presentations as required.

Performance Management:

• Support the implementation of the performance management process, including goal setting, performance reviews, and feedback mechanisms.
• Assist in tracking performance management timelines and ensuring timely completion of appraisals.

Learning & Development:

• Assist in identifying training needs and coordinating training programs for employees.
• Maintain training records and track employee participation.

Compliance:

• Ensure compliance with all applicable labor laws and regulations.
• Assist in maintaining HR documentation in accordance with legal requirements.

Other Responsibilities:

• Participate in HR projects and initiatives as assigned.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of HR processes and practices.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by the HR Manager.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of progressive HR experience, preferably in a corporate setting.
• Sound understanding of HR principles, practices, and relevant labor laws.
• Proven experience in handling recruitment processes.
• Excellent communication (both verbal and written) and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and confidentiality.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Familiarity with HRIS.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• A proactive and problem-solving attitude.
