Earlier this year, building on the strong foundation of Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (CIP) as a fund manager, we introduced an optimized CIP Platform, with three platform companies providing services to CIP. To learn more, please refer to the CIP Platform section below.
In our optimized CIP Platform, CIP Technologies – a project delivery company delivering projects from onshore wind, solar PV and battery energy storage systems, to bioenergy, thermal and transmission infrastructure – is currently looking for a HR Manger to join our office in Mumbai , India

Role:

The HR Manager, People will be a key figure in supporting our India-based operations. This role reports directly to the Senior Director in India, with working closely with People Partner in APAC . In this role, you will own our HR agenda, you’ll be responsible and go to person for all HR related inquiries and tasks for all employees in our Mumbai Office.Responsibilities will further consist of:
  • Payroll and Compensation: Oversee the payroll processing to ensure accuracy , timeliness and compliance with statutory requirements .
  • Work with payroll vendors when necessary and internal team to streamline payroll operations and implement best practices .
  • Compliance & Policy Adherence: Ensure compliance with local labor laws and regulations, while aligning with global HR policies and processes. Stay updated on labor law changes and industry standards.
  • Onboarding & Offboarding: Manage the onboarding process for new hires and support offboarding procedures, ensuring smooth transitions for employees joining or leaving the company.
  • HR Metrics & Reporting: Assist in gathering and reporting on HR-related metrics for the India team, including recruitment status, headcount, employee engagement, and market insights.
  • Market Benchmarking: Research and collect market data on salary benchmarks, employee benefits, and talent trends within the industry. Provide recommendations based on these insights to ensure our compensation packages remain attractive.
  • Employee Relations & Support: Act as the main point of contact for the local team regarding HR issues, providing guidance on policies and a positive work environment. Address employee concerns in line with both local regulations and global HR policies. Provide human resources support and consultation across the business on the most complex issues, supporting staff, managers and executives in all related areas
  • Collaborate with Global HR Team: Liaise with HQ and the APAC HR BP to ensure smooth implementation of global HR strategies in India. Provide local insights to help tailor global initiatives to the Indian context.
  • Employer Brand Awareness: Work to establish and enhance the company’s employer brand in the Indian market. Engage in employer branding activities, such as networking with universities, participating in industry events, and ensuring the organization is positioned as an employer of choice.
  • Promote CIP/CISC Fundamentals Culture: Promote and cultivate a positive working culture that aligns with the CIP/CISC Fundamental. Champion initiatives that embed these Fundamentals in daily operations, ensuring they are reflected in all activities

You:

We are looking for a motivated individual with 8+ years of experience in HR roles, with a focus on payroll processing, employee relations, HR operations, and recruitment will be an added advantage. Holding the bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field with experience in gathering market benchmarks and developing employer branding initiatives. Familiarity with Indian labor laws and HR practices with ability to work proficiently and collaborate with both local and global stakeholders.

  • Results-driven with a high execution orientation, and a focus on effective problem solving and clear communication
  • Capable of resolving problems efficiently and cultivating innovative solutions for HR concerns.
