Job Description

Job Title: HR Manager

Location: Sachin GIDC, Surat
Department: Human Resources
Reporting To: [Director / General Manager]

Job Summary:

The HR Manager will be responsible for managing all HR operations including recruitment, employee relations, training, payroll coordination, statutory compliance, and social compliance audits. The role ensures a compliant, motivated, and productive workforce aligned with company policies and ethical standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with business objectives.
  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment and selection process.
  • Oversee onboarding, induction, and employee engagement activities.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and ensure compliance with statutory and company requirements.
  • Handle employee relations, disciplinary actions, and grievance management.
  • Administer performance appraisal processes and training programs.
  • Coordinate with the accounts department for payroll processing.
  • Lead and prepare the company for Social Compliance Audits (e.g., SEDEX, WRAP, GRS, OEKO TEX etc.).
  • Ensure all documentation, policies, and practices comply with labor laws, health & safety standards, and buyer code of conduct.
  • Liaise with auditors, buyers, and internal teams during audit processes and implement corrective action plans (CAPs).
  • Prepare HR and compliance reports for management review.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s in HR, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 5–8 years of HR experience with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
  • Skills:
  • Good understanding of Indian labor laws & social compliance standards.
  • Experience in handling social audits (SEDEX, WRAP, GRS, OEKO TEX etc.).
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and coordination skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and leadership abilities.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and HRMS tools.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹45,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
