Job Title: Junior Merchandiser

Job Purpose:

To support the merchandising team in handling day-to-day activities related to sampling, order follow-up, communication with buyers and internal departments, and ensuring smooth execution of orders as per timelines and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist senior merchandisers in receiving and understanding buyer inquiries, tech packs, and product requirements.
• Coordinate with the sampling department for development of samples, trims, and approvals.
• Follow up on orders, ensuring timely production and delivery as per buyer schedules.
• Prepare and maintain T&A (Time & Action) charts, update status reports, and share with seniors regularly.
• Communicate with buyers (through emails or calls) for approvals, clarifications, and order updates under supervision.
• Coordinate with production, quality, and logistics teams to ensure smooth order execution.
• Assist in costing and price negotiations by collecting necessary data from internal teams.
• Monitor material status (yarn, elastic, trims) and ensure timely availability for production.
• Support in inspection schedules, quality follow-ups, and documentation work.
• Maintain proper filing and documentation of samples, approvals, orders, and correspondence.
• Learn and adhere to buyer compliance and quality requirements.

Key Skills & Competencies:

• Strong communication skills (written & verbal).
• Good understanding of merchandising processes in elastic or garment accessories industry.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and Email communication.
• Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
• Strong coordination and follow-up skills.
• Detail-oriented with good record-keeping ability.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Graduate in Textiles / Fashion / Garment Manufacturing / Commerce or related field.
• 0–2 years of experience in merchandising, preferably in elastic, trims, or garment accessories manufacturing.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
