Job Summary: The HR Manager in a restaurant is responsible for managing all human resource functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, training, payroll coordination, and compliance with labor laws. The HR Manager plays a vital role in creating a positive work culture and ensuring smooth HR operations within the restaurant. Key Responsibilities: Manage the full recruitment cycle: job postings, screening, interviews, and hiring. Conduct employee onboarding, orientation, and training programs. Maintain and update employee records, attendance, and leave tracking. Ensure compliance with labor laws, health & safety standards, and company policies. Handle employee grievances, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution. Support performance management and evaluation processes. Develop and implement HR policies and procedures. Coordinate with finance or accounts for timely salary processing and payroll data. Organize employee engagement and team-building activities. Monitor staff turnover and suggest retention strategies. Support workforce planning and scheduling in coordination with department heads. Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in handling sensitive staff matters. Qualifications: . 5+ years of HR experience; hospitality or F&B sector preferred. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Proficient in MS Office and HR management software. Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Work Environment: Office setting within a restaurant. Interaction with all levels of staff – from front-line to management. Occasionally requires presence on the restaurant floor for training, engagement, or issue resolution.
