Job Description

We at COMSOL create our own simulation software and provide it to technology enterprises, government facilities, and academic research facilities. Our flagship product, COMSOL Multiphysics®, is the premier modeling tool for simulating technical applications in almost all engineering industries and scientific disciplines.COMSOL is seeking a motivated and versatile HR Generalist to support our growing team. This role is crucial for managing day-to-day HR operations and ensuring smooth execution of all people processes. The ideal candidate will be a primary point of contact for employee inquiries, passionate about fostering a positive work environment, and knowledgeable about HR best practices and employment laws.

Employee Relations: Serve as a trusted point of contact for employee questions, concerns, and grievances, ensuring a respectful and inclusive workplace.
HR Operations: Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records. Generate routine reports for management and compliance purposes.
Compensation & Benefits Support: Assist with benefits administration, including health insurance enrollment, leave management, and supporting management by providing necessary data.
Performance Management: Support performance appraisal cycles, collecting feedback, and documenting performance plans.
Compliance & Policy: Ensure all HR activities and policies adhere to federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations. Assist in developing and updating the employee handbook and internal policies.
Experience: Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in an HR role, preferably in a generalist or all-round capacity.
Education: Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Knowledge: Foundational knowledge of HR principles, processes, and general employment laws/regulations.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in HRIS platforms (e.g., BambooHR, Zoho, Workday, ADP, SAP) and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel and PowerPoint).
Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
