Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and well-organized HR Executive to oversee and enhance the Human Resources functions of our organization. The ideal candidate will manage recruitment, onboarding, employee engagement, HR operations, compliance, payroll coordination, and support strategic HR initiatives. This role requires strong communication, confidentiality, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Recruitment & Talent Acquisition

  • Understand manpower requirements and prepare job descriptions accordingly.
  • Post job openings on various platforms and manage candidate pipelines.
  • Screen CVs, shortlist potential candidates, and conduct preliminary interviews.
  • Schedule interviews with department heads and follow up with applicants.
  • Maintain recruitment trackers for open positions and hiring progress.
  • Manage offer roll-outs, negotiation, and pre-joining formalities.

2. Onboarding & Orientation

  • Manage complete onboarding process, including document collection, ID creation, biometrics registration, and contract issuance.
  • Conduct induction sessions to familiarize new employees with company policies, culture, and departments.
  • Prepare and maintain employee files and ensure timely completion of joining formalities.
  • Coordinate departmental onboarding to ensure seamless integration.

3. Employee Relations & Engagement

  • Serve as the first point of contact for employee queries, concerns, and grievance handling.
  • Support healthy communication between employees and management.
  • Plan and execute employee engagement activities, birthday celebrations, wellness programs, and internal events.
  • Conduct exit interviews, analyze feedback, and support retention strategies.
  • Assist in improving workplace culture and employee satisfaction.

4. HR Operations & Compliance

  • Maintain accurate employee records, HRMS data, and personnel files.
  • Draft and manage HR-related documents: offer letters, appointment letters, salary revisions, warnings, memos, and termination letters.
  • Monitor attendance, leaves, overtime, shift schedules, and prepare monthly reports.
  • Ensure company HR policies are followed and assist in creating/revising new policies and SOPs.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and assist in audits or inspections when required.

5. Payroll & Benefits Management

  • Coordinate with finance/accounts for salary processing.
  • Validate attendance, leave data, overtime, deductions, and other payroll inputs.
  • Assist in maintaining employee benefits (insurance, reimbursements, allowances, etc.).
  • Track probation confirmations, increments, and review cycles.

6. Performance Management

  • Support performance appraisal cycles and assist managers with evaluation tools.
  • Track KPIs, performance documentation, and probation reviews.
  • Follow up with teams to ensure timely completion of appraisal processes.

7. Training & Development Support

  • Identify training needs in coordination with department managers.
  • Organize training sessions, send invites, maintain attendance, and collect feedback.
  • Maintain training records and monitor employee development progress.

Qualifications & Skills Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 2–4 years of experience in HR operations or HR generalist roles (or as per your requirement).
  • Strong understanding of HR processes, recruitment cycles, and employee management.
  • Knowledge of UAE labor laws (optional/add based on your region).
  • Proficiency in MS Office, Excel, and HRMS/HRIS software.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Strong time-management skills with the ability to multitask.
  • Positive attitude and a team-player mindset.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From ₹15,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Surat City, Surat, Gujarat: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

  • Human resources: 2 years (Required)
